Jennifer Aniston - WIP

I wasn't really sure about posting this WIP but I guess it will take some time before I finish it, since I still need to study about how to draw her hair and I won't do that so soon because I have some college things to do. Besides, I wanted a reason to move the previous version to scraps now that it looks weird to my eyes

I believe I'm learning really faster about portraits than I expected. This time I'm using a different kind of paper, with a higher density and roughness, which lead me to rely more on the H pencils. I've been paying more attention on the whole drawing process and detected a lot of issues that I still need to improve, which keeps me motivated to keep going


update: I believe this is a more interesting wip to display here, since it shows how I started the hair. It's also marks the moment when I was at a higher level of satisfaction with this work, since, after this, I kinda messed a bit and overworked on some areas, which made some textures fade so the result wasn't as good as I expected. I'll try to keep this in mind for the next drawing.
